From the Founder
The first time I saw a Star Wars movie, I was in complete awe. The aesthetics, adventures, characters, events, and far-off places in the movie captivated my little mind. The first time I watch it, I watched it five times again! I also remember when the first star destroyer entered the screen. My mouth was hanging low in astonishment. I had never seen anything like it in a movie before. And the moment I saw a lightsaber in the epic battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader I episode 5, you best believe I got obsessed with it right there and then.
I started making sabers when I was 6 years old, with empty cardboard, and played with it till the carboards wore out. On my birthday when I turned 8, my mom gave me a 10-dollar plastic lightsaber and I was in the seventh sky. It was the best gift anyone has ever given to me. 25 Years later, when I wanted to buy an authentic metal lightsaber, I could never find it around. Either it was not available or the prices were too high, more than I could afford. It was a real bummer but then I started buying cheap sabers and sold them for profit so I could save money to buy an expensive one. After 3 months of saving money, I bought an airbrush and started a custom paint job on them.
Right now, my home looks like a small factory, grinding machines, air brushes, drills, even a laser engraver (but don’t worry, we will find you a place to sit) and I make custom high-end sabers with the best electrical components like Neopixel blades, and smooth swing soundboards that are personally hand-picked by me.
My name is Kevin and with my wife Rianne, we make a great husband-wife team, we are passionate about pretty much everything related to Science-Fiction, Fantasy, and the Star Wars universe particularly. Making saber collectibles is a full-time job for us and is also how we support our family
We officially launched Galactic Saber Store in 2021. Instead of being third-party vendors, we are now the proud owners of our small business. We now serve customers all over the world and are thrilled that we're able to turn our passion into our own website.
We invest wholeheartedly in the planning and the manufacturing of custom sabers. We strive hard to present to you the best current-age weapon the business has to bring to the table. From the underlying plan idea to the choice of materials to the meticulous interaction of getting every one of the details to spot on, right down to the inside electronic intricacies, we do it all to deliver you the first-class saber. We don't compromise the inward structure for simply some incredible-looking hilts, we need it to keep going for quite a long time of showing it off.
